2 Men Arrested In Fatal Shooting At South Jersey Apartment Complex, 3rd Suspect Still At Large

Two men have been arrested in the slaying of Dashon Lee, 35, in Vineland, authorities said.

Lee was fatally shot on March 9 at the Asselta Acres Apartments, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.

Jamin Carney, 28, of Millville and Chavez Mills, 26, of Vineland, were both charged on March 14, she said. Carney was charged with murder and conspiracy. Mills was charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Mills was arrested that same day while Carney was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Thursday, March 21, Webb-McRae said.

Angel A. Aguero, 31, the first alleged shooter to be charged, remains a fugitive. Aguero was charged with murder and weapons offenses.

Aguero is armed and dangerous and should not be approached, the prosecutor said.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about Aguero’s whereabouts to call 1-877-WANTED-2 or submit an online tip at www.usmarshals.gov.
